This really is a beautiful part of Portugal. I'm was born, raised and live in Lisbon and this year I had the opportunity not only to visit Madrid (your city if I'm not mistaken ) but also Porto. I had heard both positive and negative opinions but I had the opportunity to give my own and it's on the positive side (btw, do you speak any portuguese or only spanish? just curious xD )
The skreeks of seagulls, and in empty ruins of houses below, six or eight cats fed by locals - typical > 60 years, female. Indeed, nice and characteristic photograph. If in Porto, don't forget to visit - apart from the cathedral - the Museum of Contemporary Art of Serralves in the west of Porto.
just as my eyes looked upon the thumbnail that I had the feeling that it was my country right away lol, Porto (to be exact) and I was right as soon as I moved the cursor above the image and read the title ehe xP rll nice! & yea, beautiful place indeed! Would definately like to visit it! Only had the chance to visit Lisboa and surroundings (where I lived ehe) and some of the southern part of Portugal as well (Algarve) anyway... keep up the good work mate!
Fantastic shot and the colours all come together so beautifully. That's life one must do with what you can in the most simplest of ways or method. One just has to love life sometimes.Thank you for sharing with me.
We European city dwellers pretty much all live like this - yes it can be tricky - but it is also lovely to chat with someone from your window or tiny balcony and there is still a great spirit of community because of it
